You can taste the difference
Beef is not only good for you, but is the ultimate comfort food year round! Our customers tell us that our beef tastes better than store –bought. This is because most of the beef you buy in a store is from a traditional feedlot. We finish our animals on approximately half the amount of grain that a traditional feedlot would. This results in meat that contains much less fat. We’ve spent years perfecting our feed rations to bring you the perfect balance of leanness and marbling. This gives you ground beef that is very lean, but a t the same time provides sufficient marbling on your steaks and roasts. Animals are butchered at the prime age of 20- 22 months. Dry aged for 14 days or longer.
Save yourself some money
It makes sense to order farm direct because you are automatically cutting the margins that the wholesalers and retailers are taking. Across Canada consumers are paying an average of $19.00/lb. in the store, when averaging several common cuts of beef. Our 1/4, 1/2 and full cow packages are $5.75/lb

Sustainability
🐮We have proven that in order to be sustainable, we have had to adopt new technologies, ideologies, and farming practices. We have had to constantly evaluate how and why we do things in order to have maximum benefits for both our animals and the ecosystem.
🐮Our Farming practices have evolved from high tillage and summer-fallow, to zero tillage and cover crops.
🐮Our Grazing has evolved to mimic nature as close as possible. We graze our grasses and legumes for short durations where possible and allow for longer rest periods.
🐮This process of “rotational or controlled grazing” mimics the bison that grazed these plains for thousands of years, grazing one area, then moving on to the next area, then the next, then the next…. Allowing the grazed areas to re-grow and build their root systems before being re-grazed.
🐮Another benefit of rotational grazing is that it more evenly distributes manure on the soil, our free source of Natural fertilizer from the cattle.
🐮This ensures optimum root growth, which stimulates microorganisms and fungi in the soil, thus providing a balanced ecosystem.
